TEDU One
As TED University, we have launched a significant transformation program in line with our strategic goals for the future. This comprehensive digital transformation journey is called TEDU One.
TEDU One is an integrated program aimed at strengthening our university's corporate governance structure, perfecting our processes, and managing the student lifecycle holistically from end to end. This program is not just a system change, but also a step towards moving our working methods, decision-making processes, and student approach towards a more data-driven and sustainable structure.
AI Committee General Description
The University AI Committee is a cross-campus body that prepares the institution for the AI era, setting strategy, standards, and a phased roadmap across research, education, operations, and community engagement. It coordinates subcommittees (e.g., Research & Project Development, Education & Curriculum; Ethics & Law; Administrative Processes & Automation; Investment & Infrastructure; Communication & Awareness) to align policy, talent, and infrastructure into measurable outcomes. Through transparent oversight and faculty/student development, the committee accelerates responsible adoption while safeguarding academic integrity, equity, and compliance.
Research & Project Development
Provides support to development of the research & project implementation capacity for both faculty members and students. Shapes the university’s AI research portfolio (internal & external funded) and turns promising ideas into milestone-driven projects. Coordinating with Ethics & Law, IT, and academic programs to ensure rigor, compliance, and impact.
Education & Curriculum
Establishes AI literacy outcomes for every program, updates courses and degree structures. Leads faculty development and assessment on AI use; pilots AI-enabled teaching tools, sets academic-integrity and responsible-use guidelines, and aligns changes with accreditation standards and quality assurance.
Ethics & Law
Sets university-wide AI ethics principles and legal guardrails, interpreting obligations in data protection, copyright and academic integrity. Reviews research, teaching, and administrative AI uses for risk. Publishes policies and templates (responsible use, attribution and disclosure etc.) and manages incident reporting and compliance monitoring.
Administrative Processes & Automation
Maps and redesigns high-volume university workflows (admissions, scheduling, finance, HR, facilities) and deploys secure automation with human-in-the-loop controls. Partners with IT, Legal & Ethics, and Data teams to integrate systems, govern data usage, and deliver measurable time and cost savings and service-quality gains.
Communication & Awareness
Leads a campus-wide narrative on “AI at our university,” translating strategy into clear messages for students, faculty, and staff. Runs awareness campaigns, website and social media; curates success stories and guidance (dos/don’ts) to build trust and responsible adoption.
Investment & Infrastructure
Plans and prioritizes AI-related capital and operating investments. Aligns infrastructure roadmaps with research, teaching, and administrative automation needs to maximize campus-wide impact.
